«Cities and Nature(s) — Thinking Beyond» at Zürich meets Hong Kong
October 2017
During two weeks, a group of interdisciplinary designers from Zurich and Hong Kong explored the city of Hong Kong — its social, urban and environmental conditions. The exhibition presented on the occasion of Zürich meets Hong Kong showed a selection of the outcome of this expedition, and introduced to the wide public concepts of design research, co-design, and community work that reflected the transformation of the natural and artificial environment today.
The project «Cities and Nature(s) — Thinking Beyond» took place during the International Design Workshop in Hong Kong in September 2017 with students from the Master of Arts in Design at Zurich University of the Arts and landscape architecture students from Birmingham City University, and was a collaboration with the ZHdK Connecting Spaces.
For more information about the project see the publication. The publication documents the project and presents the results developed in Hong Kong.
