Master of Arts in Design

We cordially invite all who are interested in the programme to an information evening. Lecturers and assistants will provide insight into the various specialisations.

We would also like to point out that since 13 September a certificate obligation applies to all ZHdK members as well as all external guests. Only persons with a Covid certificate or a Covid certificate "light" will be admitted.

• Persons without a certificate have the opportunity to take a free rapid antigen test on site. This will be carried out in the test bus provided for this purpose directly at the Toni main entrance.

• Persons who do not have one of the certificates will not be admitted to the ZHdK buildings, not even with a mask.

• The mask requirement and the restriction of room capacities do not apply.

The Master's program in Design qualifies students for a complex design professional environment, be it in the direction of research/innovation, practice/organization or mediation/communication. Based on a genuine concept of design, the explicit goal is not only to further educate Master's graduates in terms of content and subject matter, but also to enable educational careers based on individual interests, innovative action and interdisciplinary ways of working.

Master Design specializations: Game Design, Interaction Design, Knowledge Visualization, Visual Communication, Trends & Identity. Master Product Design - currently no new admissions. Due to a realignment of the program, applications are not open again until HS23.
