I’M A PIG — A Campaign on our Relationship to Farm Animals

How can meat-eaters be empowered to question the distinction between pets and farm animals?

As a living being, the pig has disappeared from our everyday life. It does not get a name, only a number, and it is worth the most when it is lying on a plate, roasted. That is no worthy situation for an animal which is as social and intelligent as a dog – and the same applies to any other so-called «farm» animal.

My «I’M A PIG» campaign, which is accompanied by crowdfunding, will show that it is cool to stand up for pigs. With the help of consumption strategies, the webshop for the «I’M A PIG» collection aims to draw attention to an ethical topic. No longer shall the pig be perceived as a source of meat, but as an individual with character and desires, and that deserves our love, just as pets do.
