Inbet[a]ween - Digital transformations and the future of fashion and the industry

How does digitalisation influence fashion and the fashion system?

Digitalisation in the fashion industry is here to stay. "Invisible" behind the manufacturing processes of clothing and products, to the marketing of virtual objects and events, habits are mixing with and shifting to the digital world. Phygital experiences and applications are finding more acceptance and space in a system that is undergoing socio-economic changes and transformations. The way we produce, create, consume and represent fashion is the main focus in this work.

This trend study explores recent developments and influences at the phygital interface in fashion. The platform Inbet[a]ween is created to make the transformations more tangible. This digital archive and forum encourages active users to explore new projects, interact with peers and dissidents, and strategically and exploratively support entrepreneurs in an advisory role.
