«swipe’n’step» — Immersive dance as critical reflexion

How does technology change our daily behaviour and movement, and how can this be reflected through dance?

Interaction with technology has become an integral part of our everyday lives. Our behaviour and movement patterns have been massively changed and shaped by naturally operating with technology.
This work undertakes an explorative investigation of the human-technology interface using action research methods. It becomes apparent that as a result of the successive fusion of humans and technology, new patterns emerge in the interpersonal realm that affect social interactions, such as trust. The insights gained — into such questions as of leadership, trust, humanisation — are conveyed by means of an immersive dance performance «artificial dance», which invites visitors to reflect critically on their own behaviour patterns.
