How to create accessible experiences, which sensually answer theoretical questions about immortality?
IMmortal? – Experiencing the death of death
With the emergence of transhumanism as a social trend, the millennia-old myth of immortality seems to have become a reality for the first time. My thesis illuminates transhumanism in the context of a wider range of cultural approaches to immortality. Using methods of sensory ethnography, it examines how concepts of immortality from various disciplines can be communicated in an accessible way. The aim is to create new ways in which one's own attitude to life-prolonging measures can be experienced through playful approaches. To achieve this goal, I propose a series of events in which current discourses on indefinite lifespans are served in the form of imaginative and culinary bites.
