FLOW – Immersive design as an innovative bridge between sport and design
How can a form of «Flow» representation be developed, based on theoretical research, qualitative investigation and personal experience?
Focus. Dive in. Absorb. Absolute clarity about what to do. Feeling lightweight, despite effort. Body, mind and water merge. Flow feels like the perfect moment.
The moment can be very individual, is freely available and extremely desirable. Why not go beyond one’s limits more often? When flow occurs, the experience itself is the greatest reward for the hard work that precedes it.
This Master’s thesis deals with and visualizes the oscillation between sport and design. It is about a creative transformation of the intersection of a shared experience. The result is an innovative bridge created in the shape of an atmospheric visualization.
